What is St Luke’s ElderCare’s 20th Anniversary Family Carnival about?

St Luke’s ElderCare (SLEC) is 20 years old and we are organizing a family carnival to celebrate the milestone with our friends and families and to form new partnerships to enable us to do more for our elders in the community in the coming years.

Proceeds raised will go towards enabling us to do more to care for our elders, their caregivers and family members through better care processes, new technology and equipment.

Join us by embarking on this journey with us to ensure that #NoOneAgesAlone.

When and where is the carnival?

Date: 23 November 2019, Saturday
Time: 9.00am to 7.00pm
Venue: OCBC Square @ Singapore Sports Hub.

Do I need to register in order to participate in the carnival?

No, admission to the carnival is free for all. However, to enjoy the activities available at the carnival, you are required to purchase coupons.

Where can I purchase the coupon?

Coupons are available:


– At any of our 22 centres islandwide after 23rd October 2019. Centre locations can be found here

– At the carnival venue on the day itself

What are the coupons used for?

The coupons are available at $20 per booklet, in denominations of $2 and $5 per coupon.
Your carnival coupon entitles you to:
– Games, food, retail booths and workshops
– Chance at winning a blessed draw prize

What are the activities and programmes available during the carnival?

Event highlights:
– Items made by elders and staff from SLEC
– Food & drinks stalls
– Carnival games
– Blessed draws
– Performances

Is there a blessed draw?

Blessed draw will be held once every 2 hours. There will be chances to win prizes at each draw. Please detach your blessed draw slip from your coupon and place it into the draw box.

Are the coupons I purchased transferable to others?

Yes! You may also choose to purchase the coupons for your family and friends who might be interested to attend the carnival. Please quote the order number, sent to your email when picking up the coupons at the carnival.

How do I collect the coupons I purchased online?

Coupons purchased online are only available for collection at the carnival.

Upon successful payment of your coupon purchases, you will receive an email acknowledgement with an order number. Please present your email acknowledgement with the order number at the carnival to receive your coupons.

For coupons that I’ve donated, will St Luke’s ElderCare assist to distribute to their elders and family?

SLEC will be distributing the coupons to our elders. Each elder will receive a $20 coupon. As we serve about 4,600 elders at this moment, we will need to raise $92,000 to cover the cost of the coupons distributed to the elders.

If I donate coupons, are the donated coupons available for 250% tax deductible?

Yes! Coupons donated to our elders are eligible for 250% tax deduction. However, if you are purchasing the coupons for your own use, it will be non-tax deductible.
