SLEC’s Community Health Centre (CHC) Open House
Today, we see many residents coming down for the opening of SLEC’s CHC at our Nee Soon Central Centre. Many participate in Zumba®, attend the healthy cooking demonstration, diabetes talk, and booth activities that inculcate experiential learning for residents to experience the vision and mobility of someone with diabetes.
Residents also learn healthy food alternatives and their appropriate portioning for a day’s diet.
SLEC’s Community Health Centre is a one-stop focal point for basic healthcare screening that supports General Practitioners and provides the following services:
• Nurse Counselling Education
• Diabetic Foot Screening
• Diabetic Eye Screening
• Physiotherapy
• Dietetics Advice
